Children's Ministries

  • Children's Church: 4-5 yr old children through Grade 6. Children attend regular worship service with their parents and then are dismissed mid-service to have a mini-mimic of regular worship service to include, an acolyte, message, music, prayer, offering, and communion.

  • Nursery:  Birth to age 3 during Sunday morning worship. The room is just behind the sanctuary down the hall from the office.

  • Vacation Bible School:  A fun themed program for children going into Kindergarten through 12 years old. This event is normally planned for early August in the evenings.

Congregational Ministries

  • Acolyte:  Children (of good and safe height) and older Youth are specially trained to light the altar candles at the beginning of the service and extinguish them and then carry the Light of Christ through the sanctuary at the close of worship.  Available acolytes take turns.

  • Greeters: These persons with cheerful faces welcome worshippers as they enter the church. It is an excellent way to meet your fellow parishioners. This is a one-Sunday commitment.

  • Ushers:  Ushers help on Sunday by collecting the offering. This is a simple task for both adults and children 5+.

  • Pulpit Assistant/Liturgist: Each Sunday service we have a pulpit assistant who takes and active role in leading the congregation through the worship program. The Worship committee welcomes volunteers for this revolving position.

  • Audio Visual Team:  The team manages the sound and projector equipment and produces the worship service program with Media Shout software. Volunteers for training are welcomed. Our services are not streamed online.

Adult Studies

  • Bible Study: This group is open to the public but in general is attended by the parishioners. The preferred form of study is through the use of each individual's bible of choice and bible commentaries. Our pastor leads many studies as well as volunteers from the group. New King James Version, New International Version, and Good News bibles tend to be the bibles of choice.  Days and times vary throughout the seasons of the year. Topic suggestions are always welcomed. This is a very welcoming, thoughtful group with thoughts and ideas and concerns that can be quite the eye-opener.
